What happens if I exceed my data block limit?
Your available bandwidth will drop to near zero. That is why we strongly recommend you sign up for Top Off data blocks, so that you never run out of Premium Data.
Why not leave data committment at the minimum of 50 Gb?
You will pay double the cost for the Priority Data you do use if you do not take advanage for the 500Gb pricing tier of $125 per 500 Gb. However, if you are using Starlink internet as a back-up to your primary internet service, it makes perfect sense to commit to the minimun Priority Data level of 50 Gb per month.
What is Starlink Priority Data?
“Priority Data” in Starlink’s offerings refers to data that is given higher priority on the network compared to “Standard” or “Mobil” data. That means users with Priority Data get faster, more consistent service; especially during times of network congestion.
